Get started in 10 minutes
Follow these steps to download MT4, open your FP Markets account, and place your first trade.
1) Open your FP Markets account
Use this link so you’re on the right plan and get the proper setup:
Open Account (FP Markets)- Tap “Create Account” and complete KYC.
- Choose a Live or Demo account (start demo if you’re brand new).
- Select MetaTrader 4 (MT4) as your platform.

2) Install MetaTrader 4
Download MT4 on your phone so you can trade anywhere.
- Install the app and open it.
- Allow notifications (you’ll want trade alerts).

3) Connect & place your first trade
Log into MT4 with your FP Markets account details, then trade.
- In MT4: Menu → Manage Accounts → + → Login to an existing account.
- Search your FP Markets server, enter Login & Password.
- To trade: tap a pair → Trade → set lot size → Buy or Sell.
Tip: Start small. Risk a tiny amount per trade while you learn.
